My First Post!

Well, after weeks of trying to figure out if I wanted to blog or not...the time has come.  I decided that we should have somewhere that we can share what is going on in our lives, day to day :)  We have just recently purchased our first home and had our housewarming party!  We had such a great time and are so blessed to have the family and friends we have in our lives.  Everyone in our lives plays a roll in our day to day, so I want to thank you all.

Kevin and I have had a crazy busy summer remodeling the house, camping, hiking, and trying to hang out with friends and family when there is time inbetween!  We went on our annual camping in the San Juans next to the Conejos River with the Harris Family.  That was probably the most beautiful place I have been to in Colorado.  Now, with that being said...I will never go back.  The bugs were OUT OF CONTROL!  I know what most of you are thinking...with camping comes bugs.  Well, that is not the case most times that I have camped.  I have never seen that many misquitos in one place in my life, and relly never want to again.  BUT...like I said, it was the most beautiful place in Colorado.  We also went to Estes Park for our 4 year anniversary.  We have kind of made that into our new tradition.  It is so relaxing there!  We found this cute place with cabins next to Fall River.  It is so nice because Kevin gets in his fishing while I enjoy quite time next to the river with my book.  The hikes are also amazing.  I went on my first 10 mile hike, 5 up and 5 down.  It was such a major accoplishment for me.  I felt so good when we were done.  The views were out of this world!

This is the sunset on the  Conejos River.  So breathtaking!
This was Kevin and I on our hike in Estes Park.  This was about 1/3 of the way up.

Alyssa, Jacob and Blake on our camping trip.  We got all three of them Lego headlamps.

We also got a chance to go the Mile High Music Festival this year to see Jack Johnson and Dave Mathews (There were several other bands there...)  This was Sarah and I checking out the tents!
